Bikeshop Cowboy is a short film shot and scored in house for Wellema Hat Co. The soundtrack was written after extensive research into the "cowboy sound" featured in Golden Age American Western films. The score opens with "The Bikeshop Cowboy Overture", written for full orchestra, and closes with a rendition of the hymn "In The Sweet By and By."
Step into the imaginative world of Yaku Stapleton.

For Yaku Stapleton's SS25 presentation at London Fashion Week, titled Chapter 4: Looking Back to Look Forward to Look Back Again, Jordan Fox composed the original soundtrack. The show, divided into four distinct scenes and culminating in a guest reflection room, featured actors modeling the collection under the direction of Dermot Daly.

The 21-minute score, inspired by Shabaka's Perceive its Beauty, Acknowledge its Grace, the Runescape soundtrack, Joe Hisaishi, and Sergei Prokofiev, intricately wove thematic material throughout the performance. A recurring "gathering" theme underscored the scenes in The Forest and The Library, while the motif of "reflection" echoed through both Reflection and the final guest reflection room. Additionally, a hero’s theme resonated in the Combat scene, elevating the narrative.

Composer and multimedia artist Jordan Fox has unveiled his latest work, Deteriorate, a captivating composition that merges the delicate intricacies of a string quartet with the raw energy of a hardcore band. This release showcases Fox’s unique compositional voice, shaped by his multifaceted journey through music.

“I started drumming at 10 and grew up playing in hardcore bands,” says Fox. “Now, my style leans more toward neoclassical composition. Deteriorate is a way for me to explore how these two contrasting influences can coexist in the same sonic space.”
Deteriorate is structured to reflect a gradual musical breakdown, moving through three stages: tonality, bitonality, and eventually atonality. This ‘deterioration’ of harmonic structure allows the piece to evolve, blurring the boundaries between neoclassical and hardcore elements as the tension builds.

The accompanying video for Deteriorate, also created by Fox, employs a visual technique known as datamoshing. This method manipulates digital video files by intentionally disrupting frames, resulting in fluid, dreamlike transitions and distorted movements that mirror the tension and release of the music itself.
